We make decisions by consensus and we do not have a leader or ranks. Our purpose is to have fun, make friends and help make the online gaming community a fun place to be.   We will provide a measure of civility and promote good sportsmanship.  

We do not flame, cheat or use a mod, hack, nor do we condone the use of cheats, mod's or hacks.   If you beat us in a ladder game, we will report it.

History

Old Men Online began circa January 20th, 2000,  mostly as a joke between some friends.

The original members belonged to a now defunct Homeworld clan, known as the Space Thugs Alliance (STA).   One night, they discovered that they were all older than the typical players of online games and began joking that they should form their own group and they called themselves Old Men Online (OMO).  

The next night some of the older STA members had changed their names to more "age appropriate" ones,  for example, Prostate-STA showed up.   The next step that happened was that players with OMO after their new "age appropriate" names started showing up and Old Men Online was launched.
